Water Oak Conference Table

The Story Behind The Piece

This single slab of Water Oak was sourced from Spring, TX and designed into a conference table for The Dock Line, a local media and marketing company from Magnolia, TX. The client elected for the epoxy poured into all voids, checks and cracks to be color matched to their company logo. Although the live edge was kept on both sides a 1/4 inch round-over was routed into to the top edge for comfort during long meetings. Rubio Monocoat was used as a finish and topped off with Black Forest Wood Co. ceramic coating for extra protection. The table base was fabricated out 4 inch by 4 inch I-beam.
