Parota Wood Conference Table for First State Bank of Texas

The Story Behind The Piece

This slab of Parota Wood was sourced from Costa Rica and designed into a Board Room Table for The Woodlands branch of The First State Bank of Texas. A smoke-clear epoxy was used to fill in any voids in the slab. A Rubio Monocoat hard wax oil finish was used and then topped with ceramic coating for some added protection. During installation, laptop docking station cables were routed through the Flowyline table base and mounted to the underside of the table for convenient use.
