Black Walnut Coffee Table

The Story Behind The Piece

This beautiful single slab of Black Walnut was sourced out of Northern California and cut in half to form this piece that could be used as a coffee table or desk. Liquid Glass Epoxy was then used to fill the voids and all micro holes with a black Mica powder pigment giving it a marvelous pearlescent appearance. Rubio Monocoat was then applied as a finish to really bring out the colors and figure in the wood grain.
